Questions to ask before taking the next step.

These answers explain the intended AVA approach. The written information and agreements for an individual project determine its actual terms.

Does registering commit me to invest?

No. Registration creates no obligation to invest or participate, and does not guarantee acceptance into a project. Participation requires a separate prior agreement. Registration also subscribes you to the AVA Ventures newsletter; every newsletter includes an unsubscribe link.

What stage is AVA at now?

AVA’s founder is in Zanzibar completing registrations, exploring property opportunities and building relationships. The website is currently focused on introductions from prospective investors and specialist partners ahead of future acquisitions. Registering does not reserve a property or commit you to invest.

Can I contribute expertise rather than capital?

Potentially. A project may need professional or practical capability. Its scope, timing, responsibilities and reward must be agreed. Contributing expertise does not automatically create an ownership interest.

Is there a standard minimum contribution or promised return?

No standard amount or return is published in this draft. Capital requirements and proposed economics must be explained for a specific project. No return, rental income or capital protection is guaranteed.

Will I own a property directly?

That depends on the project’s lawful structure and agreements. Do not assume that participation creates direct title, a particular lease interest or unrestricted resale rights. Obtain independent advice on the rights actually offered.

Can AVA consider leasing instead of buying?

Yes. For suitable hotel opportunities, AVA will investigate leasing and may explore a trial lease with an option to acquire the lawful leasehold or business interest. Seasonal or performance-linked rent and agreed maintenance periods may be negotiated. No such terms are automatic or already secured. Read the hotel-leasing guide.

Does a 99-year lease mean outright ownership of the land?

No. A long lease is distinct from freehold ownership of the land. The actual interest, remaining term, renewal conditions, transfer restrictions and required approvals must be verified. Residents may hold different recognised rights; residence alone does not determine eligibility. Read the land-rights and documentation guide.

Can I use the property myself?

Some projects may allow personal use. Others may be hospitality or development businesses without that feature. Availability, costs and the effect on guest bookings must be agreed for the individual project.

Why are there no named project listings?

AVA intends to protect commercially sensitive information while opportunities are being investigated. A private review can be offered when there is enough information and it is appropriate to share it. A confidential introduction is not evidence that a property is secured.

How will decisions and updates work?

The project agreements should identify decision rights, reporting schedules, spending authority and how changes are approved. Weekly updates are an intended objective in active stages, not a universal contractual promise.

Can I sell or exit whenever I want?

An interest may have transfer restrictions, approval requirements or no immediate buyer. Review the actual exit provisions, likely costs and time needed. Do not assume an early exit or a guaranteed buyback.

Can I enquire about property management?

Yes. Property-management enquiries are welcome. AVA’s founder is in Zanzibar completing registrations; discuss the property directly so that current availability, the appropriate arrangements, service scope and fees can be confirmed before an appointment begins.

How do I assess a particular opportunity?

Read the project information, understand unresolved issues and obtain appropriate independent legal, financial and technical advice. The property assessment guide outlines questions worth raising.
